Calm Air is excited to announce a major enhancement to the travel experience for its passengers. On December 18, 2017, we launched the online Flight Status functionality on our official website, CalmAir.com, providing passengers real-time information on the status of their flight. Passengers can find it on the home page, as the third tab next to Book a Flight and Modify a Reservation. This tool gives passengers the power to search by date, flight number, or departure or arrival airport to get real-time details. Flight Status provides information on the scheduled departure and arrival times, as well as revised times, should the flight arrive early or be delayed due to weather, or other factor. In the case where a flight needs to be diverted, passengers can hover their mouse over the listing to see details (for example, if we are unable to land in a community due to weather, details of the new routing will appear in a window).
By adding Flight Status to the website, passengers will have the up-to-date information they need to know before heading to the airport, thereby creating greater ease of travel. It also helps family, friends or colleagues know what time to get to the airport to pick up a passenger. Service providers like car rental companies and taxis will also be well served with this new functionality.
