One girl can make a difference, and Calm Air is happy to help her do so. Skylar Ferguson, a grade 11 student at Oak Park High School in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has been on a mission through her gofundme page to raise money for the families in Churchill, Manitoba. Her wish is for the children to have a special Christmas “and to know that Manitobans care about their situation”.
Calm Air donated space for more than 1,600 pounds of food, toys and supplies that some families may otherwise have gone without during this holiday season. The week before Christmas, Calm Air flew Skylar and her family to Churchill, Manitoba, with her personally wrapped donations so she could hand-deliver everything to the Churchill Cheer Board.
